Tranquil Morning Farm

Dedicated to the preservation of old bloodlines in pursuit of the versatile, athletic and beautiful Bedouin type Arabian Horse.

Breeding the "in your tent" Arabian...

The Bedouins of the ancient middle east considered their Arabian horses to be a divine gift from Allah.  The Arabian horse was a cherished possession and considered "part of the family".  The loyalty the horse had for its owner was intense.  Legends say the Arabian war horse would walk away from water if called to battle by its owner.  The horse was so important to the people, that often the horse was brought into the family tent at night.  The Arabian was so bonded to its people, that the family would sleep next to their loyal horse.

It is these traits that has drawn us to the Arabian horse.  The Arabian today holds that same love, respect and loyalty to its human as it did in amoungst the Bedouin people.  The same Arabian horse can be gentle and careful with young children, and yet active and exciting for an experienced rider.  Arabians are known for their great love of humans, their intelligence and their devotion.

At Tranquil Morning Farm, we are breeding to bring out these traits in our horses.  Our breeding stock hold outstanding old pedigrees, ancestors known for their "in your tent" temperaments and personalities.  These traits pass on to their offspring.  Our horses are smart, agile, beautiful, gentle and athletic...all wrapped up in one exceptional and versatile horse...a family horse, show horse, trail horse, youth mount...and more.
